The artist formerly known as Albert Malkin (my birth name) and still occasionally known as Madame Glinka (my drag/performance art alter-ego).
I’m currently painting in oil on canvas and collage/mixed media… my previous medium was chalk pastel.
Aside from art, my second passion is grand opera. I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to perform as a supernumerary (non-singing extra) with San Francisco Opera in over 20 productions, playing everything from a priest to the front end of a giraffe.
