Evasive Maneuvers

An artwork inspired while watching a documentary about birds, and how smaller birds fly in a coordinated mass to make themselves appear much bigger than they are to their potential predators.

This fractal artwork was created with Chaoscope, with post-processing done in Photoshop.

Evasive Maneuvers belongs to the following groups:

Fractal Frenzy, Mandala, Psychedelic Art & Design *TAG YOUR IMAGE!* and Vibrant and Vivid Color

It also messes up the rod and cones in the predetors eyes making positioning the prey more difficult.Regards

chaoscope does render some really great images if you have the patience, which you clearly have by obtaining this one and I know it’s not as easy as it appears ;)

Thanks, Tammy! Actually, I get a little frustrated with the limitations of Chaoscope. The largest size you can render is only 2048 pixels. I also find that the textures are kind of ‘patchy’, and it doesn’t offer any image saving format except for Windows bitmap. The image here was extensively processed in Photoshop to get it this clean. I does do some really neat renderings though.
