Artist's Description

Mt Coonowrin (previously called Mt Crookneck) – 377 metre volcanic plug, is one of the Glasshouse Mountains in the Glass House Mountains National Park in Southern Queensland. They were named by Captain James Cook in 1770 when he first “discovered” Australia. This photo was taken fronm the road to the highest peak Mt Beerwah.
