With an advertisement like this, who can doubt the seafood is fresh at the adjacent Dunalley Hotel on the approach to Tasmania’s Tasman Peninsula. Even a plover is awaiting to scream it’s arrival.
My old stamping ground…I remember that setup well… Someone played a prank once and removed the fishermen and rearranged them on the pub verandah…and they’ve been dressed up a few times as well…
Thanks Derwent-01. Good to hear, I can imaging that happening. We were only travellers but are expecting to move to north Tasmania soon.
You’ll love it… Of course I’m a parochial Southerner, so I must trumpet the beauties of the south, but honestly, some of the prettiest places in Tassie are up north…
I spent several years living in the south east around Dunalley, and one of my brothers is still down that way so I get down from time to time. It is a place of wildly varying moods, with some spectacular shots when the light is just right…
Looking forward to the change but need to sell our house first. Will try to remember to let you know the end result. Regards Graeme
Congratulations Your beautiful image has been featured and you might like to consider entering it into the Three challenge Wishing you a wonderful weekend, kind regards Val
