The Church of the Holy Trinity in small village of Hrastovlje, Slovenia is an old Romanesque church hidden behind 16th century stone walls. It contains amazing examples of frescoes which include the grotesque “Danse Macabre” and a cyclic calendar depicting agricultural and domestic activities for each of the 12 months.
