Artist's Description

There is no other place, that I know of, that invites visitors to sit in comparative comfort and watch such a variety of wild animals and birds parade before you in a natural wild environment.
Okaukeujo Lagoon in Etosha National Park, Namibia, provides a continually changing collection of animals and birds. Here we have zebra, wildebeast, springbok and oryx but we also watched rhino, elephant, jackal, giraffe and lion pass close by.

1704 viewings on 1 July 2016

Featured in “Indigenous to East and Southern Africa” and “All that is Nature” Group.

South Africa is a scenic region but, to me, it is the animals, birds and ethnic inhabitants that make this country a photographers paradise.

“Top 10” in challenges in “African Art & Photography”, “Fauna, Flora, Landscapes and Architecture of South Africa”, “100-499 Views”, “Afrikaans” & “Indiginous to Eastern & Southern Africa” Groups.
