Kevin Skinner replied
Hi Chris,
It was just a case of keeping my eyes open when walking along the coast. Never seen so many mussels in one place! Sort of reminds me of the The Little Shop Of Horrors for some reason….... :-)

Who would have thought mussels would create such a great B&W….but they did!!
Kevin Skinner replied
Hi Jacqueline,
Not my usual kind of shot and was exprimenting a little here but I think it paid off. Thanks for commenting
Arletta
Now there’s a scene I’ve never seen before.
Kevin Skinner replied
Hi Arletta,
I know, it’s a strange scene but one that I had to take when I saw it. This was a minute part of a carpet of mussels that, literally, covered a shore of rocks and huddled as tightly as this throughout. Amazing!
Mohsen Bayramn...
almost abstract… and the form… not sure what to say.
well done, Kevin!
Kevin Skinner replied
Hi Mohsen,
A great compliment from a master of abstract themselves! It seemed a natural B&W scene when I took it. Cheers

hahhhaaahaahahahaaa – come on sharing is a virtue and if that does not work…I have white wine, fresh french bread and fresh berries for dessert.
Kevin Skinner replied
Sounds like a feast to me. Think there’s more than enough for everyone here :-)

I love to forage at clean beaches, one time a bag of oysters washed up on shore, that was a true gift from the sea I will never forget, that and the yummy yummy snails I would pluck off the rocks.
