Nature disburses its seeds in many ways, often using the wind as with this plant, These seeds also catch in fur and feathers as well as clothing, all aiding to a widespread scattering. The seeds appear to be covered in a fine web as fine as a spider’s web.
This unrecognised seed pod was captured with my old Nikon coolpix vintage about ’86 and still going strong. It had a minute sensor by todays standards but still takes a good picture.
