Yellow_Warbler
It was my intent to capture this bird perched in the purple lilac flowers at Mud Lake. I positioned myself in such a way that he, not wanting to be too close, would stop in the lilacs.
Apparently, wishing to take centre stage, this one landed much nearer.
Perfection in nature.

Thank you very much Elvor. I am envious of you living in Colorado. Eye candy for a photographer! PS. “Mesa Morning” is a wonderful work. Cheers, Greg.

Excellent capture, so colorful
gregsmith
Thanks Larry. and, I will add “Silence on the Prairies” to my favourites. It sends a chill up the back of my neck.. (Perhaps an odd observation, but it really is a powerful image.) Maybe because it accentuates the vastmess of the praries by way of the vanishing point. Will join the long list of admirerers of ths one, Greg.

It wanted to get in the Internet! Great capture, Greg – fave for me.
gregsmith
Thank you Kasia, sometimes I believe that these creatures are a little less skittish and a little more curious than we are lead to believe.
(Either that or they are wondering why that guy has been sitting there staring at that tree for two hours. Maybe he is dead, better check it out,) ha ha.
