Ha ha, I considered removing the centre pole of the tripod, but was concerned it might fall over and did not want to injure my trusty assistant. Thanks Irene.
This is classic, I just love it. fantastic focus, a great capture, I think he’s looking through the little screen, couldn’t quite reach the viewfinder, a gorgeous candid shot.
Hey Carla, the only one to ask how, an inquiring mind. If you follow his nose you can see a small brownish dot on the tripod. This is the peanut lodged between the tripod and the camera. You can see some of the peanut shells on his fur. It tool several takes. (Believe he was messing it up intentionally.) ha ha
too funny! Andrew Haydon Park is a great one! You get some really great shots..you must have incredible patience or are blessed with good timing!! Cheers from a fellow Ottawan
TOO COOL!!!!! Brilliant work. I see the peanut you mentioned to Carla!! What a great idea. Ground hogs are actually very intelligent animals! Who would have thought?? : )
Hahahaha This is hilarious! Pretty clever how you got him up there. Patience is a virtue! LOL This really is a well taken image. Great focus – detail and DOF. But most of all…so funny! There is a group on RB called Humor Captured. And I think that’s what you have done here Greg! I love this! Instant Favorite!
What a fun shot!! I was going to ask how in the world did you get him to take the pose…but I found your trick out in your comments above..lol….peanuts…lol…you trained this guy? Sooo funny!! :)) Nicely done! :)♥
