Hi!

I’m Rogelio ‘Roger’ Olasiman. My baptismal name Rogelio is a Spanish legacy but nobody would call me by that name except my mother when she was upset with me.

I used to do a lot of charcoal and watercolour paintings in my younger years but then shifted my interest to photography ten years ago because painting requires lots of time and effort and some people come up with sticks and figures and colours splashed on canvas or wall and sell them as paintings. I am a realist painter. I reproduce as much likeness as possible.

Been a photojournalist once. Enjoyed it initally but then it incurred some degrees of risks especially if you are involved in some political issues.

I am a chemist by profession and worked for 13 years in the geothermal industry. Continued my job with an environmental company until I found work in concrete research.

I joined RedBubble not so much for financial gain if any but for the learning and inspiration that I could derive from artistically inclined and talented people who display their works here.
