A Clockwork Mickey

A Clockwork Mickey

The revised version – I got too clever the first time, but I messed less with this and I think it’s an improvement.
The basic design as you see it appeared in Tierazon. I worked the colours with Colour Editor and Windows Paint. pixel by pixel in places.
For those too young to understand the joke, this was my inspiration. Well, that, and a general dislike of Mickey Mouse. I was more of a Bugs Bunny kid.

Also available as a T-shirt.

Available for sale as

Greeting Cards, Matted Prints, Laminated Prints, Mounted Prints, Canvas Prints and Framed Prints

Thanks, Ruth, you won’t be too young to contribute to my legal fund when Disney lawyers come hunting for my scalp.
Paul, thanks again. PS: If I put more gears in there, it might start to look like my own head!

Simple, iconic, and probably worth my arse in lawsuits if it ever catches on.
Ah well, I can but hope! Thank you gemynd, and may I mention in passing that a T-shirt version is available here

I like this – the simplicity of shape and colour is brilliant. AND I have to say I agree 1000% with you on MM and Bugs. Warner Bros cartoons still have be falling apart in joyous amusement but the Disney’s just aggravate me. Do a bugs one … do a bugs one ….
