For the Show n Tell your Pets forum thread
where I said…..
When I met my now wife, I was living in a flat in Hawthorn. Rosanne moved in. One problem was that pets were not allowed, and inevitably, just having me was not enough to keep Rosanne happy – we needed a cat. Amazingly, this was the catalyst (no pun intended) which resulted in us buying our house in 1991, and getting Lily from the Cat Protection Society very soon thereafter. Lily was a wonderful cat, very smart, strong personality, and a great companion. She died at the age of 16 a few months back, and will always be lovingly remembered.
We always assumed that those chunks out of her ears were from interaction with possums when she was young and less world wise.
We have a new feline friend now, Raffy. I will post a shot of her later
Here is Lily (often called The Lilster)
