saxophone busker at the national library
canberra enlighten festival 2012
insect specimen art projected on library building

this guy was screaching and honking with reckless atonal fury.
someone tossed a handful of coins in his hat
and he muttered between riffs, “i don’t really deserve all that…
I’ve only been playing for 2 weeks”.
the coin throwing patron replied back,
“don’t practice any more…
it’s just right.”

Ha….I could fave alone that story…..:)))

  • Thanks. It was awesome just to see and hear someone just make noise without any concerns about ‘getting it right’ or other people’s opinions.. He was just enjoying his own sound… good to see some ‘brave young artists’ out there again.
