I drove over to Thorpe Cloud to take my monthly photo and spent the day driving around the Manifold Valley.
This is the view down Larkstone lane towards Weag’s bridge. The road crosses the river Manifold then continues up the hill towards Grindon passing by Weag’s Barn.

Thank you Julie, it is a great place to visit. The lane reminds me of some of the roads in the Lake District, it has a few steep inclines and sharp bends.
