Your title reminds me I may still have the eight track, cassette for certainly the 33 1/3 rd LP in my collection, will have to see about what the possibility of a photo shoot digs up ! :-)) ♥ paul
gawd I wish I still had all those old 8 tracks…..think I got rid of most of that stuff after Mike died. just couldn’t see luggin all that stuff from State to State…..I still have my Father in Law’s old 45’s & 78’s tho. they are really in rough condition but keeping them anyway.
Well I still have one of my players here on the computer desk, with headphones, so I don’t bother the Misses, the cassette player is in the den, and the carousel jukebox gets it use during the holiday season, with Christmas caroling, music of the holidays ! as for the 33 1/3rd well it works but needs a new turn table belt, and the old amp well its 1971, and works but crackles out noises til the tubes warm up, but who cares, got good use of those, remember reverb, :-)) I do ! even have tape recorder and deck and perhaps a hundred reel to reel full four track stereo ! cause I’m not much into TV, too many commercials and all, thought of it but never tuned into making CD’s or DVD, but could, someday down the road ! But with little imagination all those racing trips down the road, listening to the songs of the day ! trips taking up to twelve hours one way ! so much for living the history ! – paul
That’s great you have all that equipment. I took all the old 9mm film that had been in the garage from the Desert to the Sea & Wyoming too. Thought it would be so brittle that nothing could be done with it but found a place over by Channel 7 studios that was able to put it all on DVD for me. It was film of Mike when he raced go-karts and some of the family trips…..Made DVD’s for all my kids and all of Mike’s family…….wonderful memories for them of Mike as a little guy. Anyway, enjoy the cool wet weather….
