Hi everybody… im in need of some guidance….im looking to buy a DSLR this month, all i’ve ever used is my CANON A1 that i had given to me about 3years ago. its a great camera-dont get me wrong, but its age of 30 years is starting to limit me in what i want to do..i think its time to catch up with the digital age…
if anyone could give me an idea on what model of camera to get it would really help….
i’ve been looking at, Canon EOS 450D.

I bought a K10D last year and am in love with it. A lot cheaper than the canon and nikon equivalents. Check it out on dpreview.com. i think the only downside (with the k10d, at least) is that it is a bit heavy. But, it is weather and dust proof …

well the canon 450D is not bad….i have the canon 400D the one that came out b4 the 450D….i like my camera sooo im guessin 450D is just as good….the only difference is that the 400 is 10mgpxls and the 450 is 12…..but to tell you the truth if u want a really good one which i love is the nikon D80 …<3 stunning came…it´ been out for a while….but it´s pretty impressive…and not as costly as others…but it´s more expensive than the 450D….but if u can…..defiantly go for the nikon D80

I own a D80 and love it. I realy don’t thing you could go wrong with either camera. Canon and Nikon are at the top on the field. Did you know that Nikon is introducing a D90 with live screen and movie capable?
