I’ve seen a lot of great kangaroo pictures but none like this one. It’s a beautiful animal and you photographed it so well.

“the kangaroos climb trees” == not exactly .. this is a specific genus of large-footed marsupial, macropodidae , like the other kangaroos and wallabies, but adapted to life in the canopy along with the possums (Phalangeriformes , which have little hind feet, not big ones) and therefore known, rather unsurprisingly, as the tree kangaroo .

These also jump amazing distances between trees, like spider monkeys I imagine … never seen them in the wild myself, but i’ve heard stories that they jump 30 to 40 feet from tree to tree (or was it metres?)

    :)

Feet would seem more likely. Thank you Dimsim.
