I am a freelance photographer originally from Brisbane, Australia, and currently living in Cape Town, South Africa.
I enjoy many forms of photography – with a particular interest in travel and nature photography. This diversity can be seen in the range of genres and styles in my portfolio
your macro shots are very good… what camera and lens do you use?
Thank you very much :) I use a Canon EOS 400D and a Canon 50mm macro lens – hoping to upgrade to a 100mm very soon! I’m pushing the 50 way beyond it’s limits!

I have an Xti with a 60mm. I find when I increase the fstop I get clearer images. Is that tru for you as well?
Well yes, the larger the f number the greater the depth of field, and so you’ll get a better range of focus. But I pretty much always shoot on f2.5 before I like the shallow dof that it gives :)
gorgeous shot, rich colors
Thank you very much Luda :) So glad you like it!
what a beautiful sunflower, congrats for your feature
Thanks Elaine, so glad you like it! Honestly though, it’s not a sunflower, I’m not sure What type of flower it is! Wish someone could tell me!
A Triple F from me, Congrats on your Fantastic Feature, Fabulous work.
