RB & FB - A Match Made in Heaven for Applied Imagination by Damienne Bingham

Applied Imagination is now on Facebook!

In our efforts to make this group the most recognized and effective tool for promoting your products on RedBubble, we have created an Applied Imagination artist page on Facebook.
This is a tool to help us expand our reach – to connect with other like-minded artists and potential clients/customers; a way to generate more sales of our work.

It is early days yet, this group is only new and the FB page is even newer – so I encourage you all to check out the page and if you have an account on FB, please ‘like’ us and recommend it to your friends. I believe this will really increase the traffic that this group, and in particular, your work gets.

So far we have displayed the latest iPhone and Tshirt features on the page and we expect to keep the Facebook page as current as this group.

We understand that art theft is an issue when displaying work on multiple sites and so we have undertaken to include a copyright notice on each and every work that is posted. As another measure against art theft – and as a proactive way of promoting your work – we post only small images of the products (i.e. iPhone cases, Tshirts, Framed prints etc.) and not your original image files.

The following is the copyright notice that is attached to your work:

The images contained within are the exclusive property of the artist (your name).
The use in any way, including reproduction, modification, publication, transmission, transfer, or exploitation of any of the content, for personal or commercial use, whether in whole or in part, of images in this portfolio without written permission from (your name) is prohibited by law.

Of course you are always welcome to opt out of this further promotion. If and when your work is featured in the group (and subsequently on FB), you will receive a message notifying you of this. If you do not wish for your work to be displayed on FB, you only have to tell us and we will remove it.

I personally am very excited about this and I am looking forward to seeing if this helps the group to grow and gains extra attention for us all. If any of you have any suggestions for how you would like this group to be run or ideas for promotion, please feel free to let us know – new ideas are always welcome!

All the best to all of you creative and talented artists – can’t wait to see more of your work coming in! Have a great week, and…

Don’t forget to ‘Like’ the Applied Imagination Facebook Page
