My favorite owl. The short story to be included in my now out-of-print book (Waltz on the Wild Side – An Animal Lover’s Journal) on barn owls was deleted after my approved galleys were submitted, with an additional one. We lived in the desert and they would come out at dusk and do a ballet in and out of the telephone and power lines above our yard. Beautiful shot.
