Training is a never ending duty at this rural station, here firefighters practice drafting from a drop tank.

With water flowing the engineer tweaks the levers to fine tune the output of the 1500gpm pump.

The deck gun produces a master stream of up to 1,000 gallons of water per minute, quick enough to empty this engine in 3 minutes.

And then the training is put to good use.

Neat Larry. Nice big plot of land for training etc. Lots of grass to mow though.

  • Roy this is a country fire station. When the grass gets high, they just let the cows out to eat. 8<)))

Outstanding shot Larry….It’s a great looking station and that sky really sets it off well…..

  • Thanks Cap, it doesn’t have the personality of Civic, but it’s huge inside you can park 6 machines in there.
