I’m a retired photojournalist living in Vero Beach Florida USA. My career kept me based in the Southeastern United States, assignments however made travel a necessity. I have been taking and selling my images since 1967. Nikon is the only 35mm camera system I have used. From S3, FTN, Nikkormat, F2, F3, D1 and Now D2H Nikons have been good for me. Although I shoot a lot with the 300mm lens my kit contains 14mm, 16mm semi fisheye, 20mm, 35-70mm, 60mm micro, 85mm, 180mm and 500,, lenses. Photographic interests include teaching, wildlife, travel, landscape and action photography. I like to create assignments and have spent up to a year collecting common images, for example 2007 was the year of the alligator, everywhere I went I looked for Gators. In 2006 it was lightning. Birds flew away with 2008. And this year I’m looking at other shooters great work. Swamps and waterways have always attracted me so many of my nature images are from those venues.
