A couple of years ago, after I got my first camera and DSLR I decided to have a go at sunset from Crich Stand. After the sun had gone down and the remaining clouds lit up like they were on fire I located this cross which I decided to silhouette. I think it was quite effective, I believe this was a memorial cross as it was the other side of a fence and there was a sheer drop there over the quarry cliffs. I have since revisited Crich and the cross is no longer there. Just goes to show, take that picture while you can….you may not have the oppurunity again.
