My grandson walks along the shoreline on Grayton Beach, Florida. Kodak Easyshare Z980
A Florida native, I enjoy taking photos of the natural beauty around me. Photography is a wonderful way to preserve the memories of that beauty. My family is also my passion, and I enjoy recording the things we do together. Strictly a hobbyist, I have won a few contests, and have been published within the state several times. Sharing these photos with friends who share theirs with me is a most gratifying and lovely experience.

Great shot, Judy! I love the light on the water and the silhouette effect. You’re getting to be quite the pro!
You are too kind, Nancy! I actually took this one in Dec. 2009 with my “old” camera. Thanks very much, Dear Friend. (I miss you)

Judy, this is fabulous! The shadows on the sand are marvelous and I love the composition! Nice straight horizon, too, I might add…one of the things I notice. Great work!!
Thanks very much, Dot! I always have to straighten the horizon in my shots. I seem to have a port list.

Is this beach as beautiful as it shows it on the state parks website? I saw sweeping sand dunes and rivers running near the saltwater and all kinds of gorgeous places. Your image definitely pinpoints one amazing aspect of it!
It is amazing, Rebecca! The sand is snow white. We went in the Wintertime, and the grandkids had to wear coats on the beach. I took some shots where all you could see was them playing in the sand, and it looked like they were playing in snow. There were little lakes and rivers just a few hundred yards from the beach. Thanks for you comment.
