So detailed, I love you colour pallet, your work is so beautfiul, your very talented..anna : )
Thank Anna, very encouraging.
A perfect oil painting. Using a single, close and complex shape as subject, is difficult. And you’ve shown how it is done!
Steady now Colin… ‘perfect’ is not a word I would associate with my work…I aim high but dont always get there, still a lot to learn, but thanks for such encouraging words, much appreciated!
you blow me away…. amazing painting…. more i look, more i see… love the rust and that bright yellow….
Hi Mimi… you say the nicest things, all comments encourage me to carry on and do better things…many thanks.
Yes! I agree. ‘Perfect’ is for amateur, or two word commenters, which give us no constructive feedback.. I should have said, ‘an exemplary example of a fine oil painting’. We can always go that tiny bit further. A bit like infinity…plus one inch!
Sorry Colin, I’m grateful for any and all your comments… by the way, I was in Whitby yesterday, didnt quite make Staithes but also managed Port Mulgrave and Sandsend, lovely day out walking along beaches and headland, you would love the area!
Gorgeous painting Graham! If this boat was ‘scruffy’ you’ve certainly given it a bright fresh feel :) Wonderful!
Hey Chris, many thanks for your comments…very much appreciated… and love your work too, very accomplished!
how absolutely gorgeous is this? wow…. the dream boat !! take me away now to golden sunsets far beyond this world of madness
Well what a lovely thing to say… and very tempting… thanks for all you say Goldy.
Sandsend? I have a painting from one of Sutcliffe’s wonderful Victorian photos, of a Ketch, at Sandsend
Hi Colin…nice work. Have you been to Sandsend…or Whitby which is next door?
