In the shadow of the Sherpa of old, my Huskamute ‘Shadow’ stands in full-rig on the Collado de Brazato in the Spanish Pyrenees Mountains during our Coast to Coast trek in Nov. 2011.
These Dogs and similar northern breeds have been used by Adventurers from the Klondike to the Arctic explorations and the race for the South Pole, and have been praised and loved by their owners for their stoicism and loyalty throughout recorded history.
Shadow is no exception … a credit to his breed.
