I have just read an article on the internet that I want every other human being on the planet to read. Please read and think about this article . If it doesn’t appear, please click on the refresh key. Gray Graham Mewburn
Oil = food. Your food is not grown using a beast (large animal) and plow. Your food is not transported to you by horse and cart. When the trucks stop coming, where will you get your food?
to say this food for thought is in no way being flippant however i prefer to say this is food for action while we cannot begin to influence the financially oriented we can if we havea small plot of land even a few tubs of soil, begin to grow some forms of edible crops… i was born after WW2 but history tells of the UK DIG FOR VICTORY slogan… better to make contingency plans than to see our children starve if this aricles warning materializes
Graham, this comes as no surprise to me, but governments will continue to stick their heads in the sand until the rest of us wake up and force them to do something about it. Unfortunately, so many simply don’t care until it’s too late. When gas is $ 4 a gallon, people conserve. When the price goes down, everyone just forgets about it and they continue on with their SUV’s and wasteful practices. We need to implement emergency programs that develop green energy, and it needs to be done NOW! Even so, it may already be too late, but we’ve GOT TO TRY!
The power of ONE ~~ each of us can start growing some vegies etc which are totally good for our own bodies ~ to own the right land is not cheap but all of us can grow plants in tubs ~ i’m an ex Market gardener & my land is to stay in my families for the future generations ~~ bartering went on many 100’s of yrs ago & anyone can still grow enough to survive !!!

This has been said for many years and no-one in the position to doing anything radical is taking any notice
