Sentenced to life in a cage

For as long as you can remember you have lived in a cage
It is about the size of a bathroom
You share your cage with 4 or 5 others
Your teeth have been removed so you wont bite each other
There is plenty to eat and drink, but it is the same day after day
Looking through your cage wall is another cage filled to capacity
It is the same below and above, and far as you can see
All day you just eat and work
There is no furniture, nowhere to sit, nowhere to have a lie down
Just eat and work
No fresh air, no sunshine, no fragrances, just the same old stench
Then one day
When you fail to be productive enough, you are dragged from the cage
Your reward for all your years of self sacrifice
They break your neck and throw you in the garbage
This is the life of a caged hen, so you can buy cheap eggs in the supermarket
Please only buy Free range eggs
you may copy this and publish it and send it to your friends

Yes I agree Please only buy free range eggs!!! How sad to think these chickens are treated like this. I don’t like the way they keep the cows all couped up either. They spend all their time in the stalls in a barn. It’s sad!!!
