Tweed Heads from Mt Toonbarabah by

Mt. Toonbarabah is the peak of Razorback ridge. Also known as Tom Beatson outlook. We must have a picnic lunch up there one day. It overlooks Coolangatta and Tweed Heads. This view is of Tweed Heads. In the foreground is Wharf St and Tweed Marina. This waterway is connected to the Tweed river via the Terranora Inlet. The walkway, ‘Mariners drive walk’, along the waters edge is a delightful stroll and is accessed from Harbour Island drive. The walk also takes one through ‘Keith Curran reserve’, a horticultural delight. Many of the homeowners living in this manmade paradise are also yacht owners. The waterway just beyond the homes is Terranora inlet and can be seen flowing into the Tweed river. The land between them is Ukerebagh Island. Between the Ocean and the Tweed river is Fingal Head. The island is Cook Island.
