This pelican was resting on a bolard at the Crowdy Head Jetty. As I walked towards him, he took to flight. My apologies if he is a she! Crowdy Head is on the East Coast of Australia, north of Sydney and east of Taree. It has a small harbour, and a village of about 50 houses.
