Ever since getting my first Zenith SLR Camera over 30 year ago, I have enjoyed photographing the landscape, however it was not until the mid 1990’s while visiting the Canadian Rockies, that I felt really inspired to take my photography seriously. The result being the publication of a beautiful coffee table book of the Rockies.

Alas, living in the UK, it was not practical to keep returning to Canada several times a year and so decided to focus on Scotland, the county of my birth. While proving a much greater challenge to find suitable weather to photograph under, the ever changing conditions mean you will rarely see the same scene twice. A dilemma that can be extremely frustrating when things don’t go as planned but one that brings overwhelming satisfaction when all the elements do come together.

While never satisfied and ever striving for perfection, I trust my images will succeed in bringing enjoyment and perhaps inspiration.
