Cropston Reservoir, illuminated some 8 miles outside the city by the light pollution from Leicester. Whilst the orange Sodium glow is visible to the naked eye at night, only with long exposures does it truly show…...

Hi Luka – not a lot of post processing happened – this is pretty much how it came out of the camera bar the vignetting being taken out and the exposure on the wall brightened up (it was side lit by passing car headlights). Only other thing was a slight crop to get the composition right, but in doing so I lost the flare in the clouds sadly
