Wakey Wakey Time

A Windpump in the north east of the Norfolk Broads. I think this is Horsey. If so, Horsey is a restored drainage windpump that affords striking views across Horsey Mere, one of the Norfolk Broads.
The Mere is particularly well known for wintering wild fowl. There is access to the beach at Horsey Gap and a circular walk.

Those colours, the darkness, silhouette, all make for a really striking shot.

I’m trying to come up with another superlative to differ from stunning, but I can’t – this is truly stunning. Ethereal. Remarkably good.

Excellent shot Graeme – See you found the water then! Lovely dark tones and hint of Gladwinesque sky in there too. Very interesting to take it from behind too.

Spent a week ON the water Stuart, but not posted those yet – they could be a while coming. I’m sat on around 150 potential images, sorted from 1000+ taken – maybe 30 or 40 might end up on here at SOME point, but I have a raft of wildlife stuff which rarely gets commented on – some real beauties, but folk dont seem to like insects for some reason
