This is a digital study for a painting exploring isolation and alienation in the modern world.

Like others in this series, it uses metaphor, is informed by the constructs of Minimalism and Formalism, and references the work of Piet Mondrian.

This is the second iteration using the chair as a focal point. I plan to make one or two more before moving on. I like the hard-edged, uncompromised feel to it and the fusion of figurative and abstraction.
