This is a digital study for a painting exploring isolation and alienation in the modern world.

Like others in this series, it uses metaphor and is informed by the constructs of Minimalism and Formalism.

For me, this is perhaps the most successful so far in the series. I wanted to pare all the elements down and use only the essentials to create something that is both real and surreal.
