From the Dogma series.

The complete series can be found here.
This was the first of the Dogma series which initially grew as a response to the writings of Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens.
With tongue planted firmly in cheek, it draws upon the symbolism of Renaissance and Baroque religious art sprinkled with a little Pierre et Giles.

Comments
This one is very cute and the elements and colours seem to mesh well.
Thanks Celia! This was actually the first in the series.
Anne Geddes would be proud ;)
Just kidding, i really like this, i have an affinity for things like this. Yours is a great original concept.
Cheers.
Thanks icpool – it would be nice to be as commercially successful as Anne Geddes but, for the forseeable future, I’ll have to be content with enjoying what I do …. and that’s not a bad place to be. Thanks again, I’m glad you like it. :-)
this is just beautiful Graeme. I too have chihuahuas, and how is it they can look so innocent???
this is the cutest, We have flokati but not pompom.
v cute. I love the bird flying out. Graeme…yr name is familiar. you won some awards you say (what for?) …and are at Wollongong uni. you haven’t done a teaching degree as well?
I like the design series too btw. did you see the powerhouse museum exhibition a few years ago?
Thanks Barbie! This little one is just too cute for words – the best pooch I’ve ever known and she certainly deserves to be immortalised!
Hi Mikoto – many thanks for your comment!
Many thanks, sunset! The dove indicates that she is a deity (religious symbolism) which I’m glad you picked-up on.
If you’re interested, you can find more details on me in my Profile or through a Google search.
Yes, I saw the Powerhouse exhibition – a few pieces that I’ve donated to their Design Collection are on display there at present (not my own work).
