Don’t we all know that feeling of waiting for doctord or at the dentist etc. I now go to a doctors where you don’t book an appointment you just turn up and wait and it’s so much quicker.

Thanks for your comment PrincessBren! The Waiting-Room is a metaphor for life – it’s semi autobiographical. The study for this one is being painted at the moment and I’ve actually changed it a bit – I think it works better in its new form but, you’ll see soon enough!

Thanks Kalb! The oil study is coming along well but, I’m a sloooow painter …. and I have 3 on the go at the moment!
It will be interesting to see what you all think about the study once it’s posted. Even now, while I’m painting it, I can see that there will be even more changes when I eventually paint the final, full sized work.
