Strokes of the Lily
Digital Imagery – single pond lily with reflection.
The original photo was taken at the Geo. Langman Wildlife Sanctuary in Oro-Medonte Twp, about a 5 minute drive from our house.
he George Langman Wildlife Sanctuary is roughly 65 acres of pond, swamp, marsh, trails and, of course, wildlife. The sanctuary is maintained by the Orillia Fish and Game Conservation Club, and they give generously of their time (and money) to help maintain this. The gates are open 365 days a year – which I find incredible. Many provincial parks in Ontario are not open all year long (Bass Lake Provincial Park, just ‘across the way’ from the sanctuary is closed through winter). If you visit the sanctuary there is a donation box – donations help to keep the wildlife fed and healthy.

:D – thanks for the ‘young’ bit. There are days when I feel old as Methuselah.

beautiful Gracey, and it doesn’t matter if some days you “feel” old, if you “stay” young in your heart. :-)

One suggestion, if I can this is more of a vertical image, and some cropping will happen when it displayes on screensaver! Two changes could be made! 1 you can resize canvas to make horizonital image, and use paintbucket to fill canvas with color of your choose! 2 you could crop image to make horizonital image! If you need any help, let me know! I wanted to warn you the screensaver expands to fit the screen from left to right, so some of the top and bottom will not be seen! You will only find out what I mean, once the screensaver is made, and see the final result! I will have to get on Mark for not already making edits to his work, like I had requested! IMAGES SHOULD FIT YOUR MONITORS SCREEN! SORRY FOR ANY EXTRA WORK, BUT EDITS ARE NEEDED! THANKS, DARRELL
