british – yep, it was ominous. We got a huge snowstorm later that day. It was the oddest light I encountered that morning.

This is wonderful, almost schizoid in it’s feel – so dark and empty on the one side, yet so much lighter and full on the other.

Thanks – it certainly felt very weird that day.

Great shot – I love it when natural lighting is like this. It illuminates all the foreground really well but it all sits against a dark moody sky. If that marquee were a different colour this shot would be a great candidate for a selective colour B&W shot
