Last November, I had the privelege of going to Westonbirt Arboretum.
It’s about a 2 hour drive from where I live but we had a late autumn last year and I thought it was definitely worth making the effort to go.
We hadn’t been before and got a little lost as we thought we must have missed our turn, as
it happens, we hadn’t quite gone far enough!
As we were driving the clouds gathered
and it started to drizzle but when we arrived we were so glad! The mild summer followed by a mild and damp autumn meant that the leaves were staying on the trees for longer giving us the most amazing display of colour and the most dramatic autumn for years.
Walking through the Acer Glade was breathtaking!
