I liked the flagged walkway leading your eye in towards the ship.
Thank you for your comments.
Fabulous POV ! very well done:)
I appreciate your comments, thank you!
Excellent = )
Thank you, RonJohn!
I love this shot, especially the flags lined up on both sides. My dad got to work on the U.S.S. Missouri during the filming of “Under Siege”, and he was as excited as a little boy would be. They even gave him a windbreaker with “USS Missouri” printed on it.
Thank you! It must have been a wonderful experience for him and for you to hear about it – it is an amazing ship, rich with history – there is a bronze plaque on board that marks the spot where the “surrender” took place – formal signing of papers, etc.
I would love to see that! I have always liked standing on a spot where momentous history has occured. It’s almost like traveling back in time. I feel like I’m surrounded by the people who lived at that time and close me eyes and imagine what it would be like to be one of them.
I have seen Big Mo. This is very beautiful. xo
