Backyard Visitor

Deer stream through our backyard regularly…this one was only about 25 feet away from our house when I spotted him. My camera with the zoom lens is always within reach. He seemed to approve of the photo op after checking me out. This photo was taken through a glass window.

I especially like the sunlight and its halo effect on the deer as well as the way the shrubbery seems to mimic the deer’s antlers. The whole effect is rather “magical.”
