I recently got a Nikon P80 from Lindybird on my birthday. Love it, love it; LOVE IT! It has an 18X optical zoom plus digital zoom on top of that. Takes Macro down to .4 inch focal distance. Most of the work in my portfolio is taken with that camera. It is 10.1 Megapixels and costs less than $400 USD. It can be as automatic or manual as you wish and can take b&w and save the image in b&w AND color. lots of nice features for the cost. try to check one out. Peace, Doug W
