AWAY

He left and did not say goodbye
No introductions just disturbed lines,
Evaporated man…
then in text he did appear
So gallantly and most sincere
Warrior from afar
Golden super dancing star
There he goes upon my heart
Away from my grasp
Away with my chance, for he had found romance
Now he’s left me for soft silk hands
The color of milk, glue and ice cream sticky strands
tips of fingers that will one day taste of vanilla frosting, dinner and love
Why did I think I had a chance?
I thought if he would think to glance
Look at me from that branch , that he would see me more
But alas he flew north up high
Sharing with the world his light
Trying with all his might to live the acts of the word
The missionary of the gospel of Christ has found himself the fairest wife
I retreat with all my might to disappear into this sight
Happy and yet surprised
Wiping blindness from my eyes,
The fondness we had was disguised
Sadly I won’t be his prize
but, to wish him happiness if I had ever true affection
I can be so kind, even though the fellows taken and
will never be mind, I can be fair, it was just infatuation.

I was an admirer of this fellow for quite sometime from afar. He is very upstanding and passionate. I am happy that he is getting married, but also wish I was the one being picked in a fairy-talish way. He is a great role model for us all. I don’t want the exhibit I just would marry the part of the character I liked. That is why it is infatuation because you can’t have it like that. Perhaps I did not know him enough to love him objectively.
