Photography is the love of my life (after my dear husband, of course) To me, the images we see around us are art in the making. I love to photograph beauty in nature and especially flowers…I also love sunsets, landscapes, mountains, trees, animals, birds….birds being a new obsession of mine. I became interested in bird photography in October of 2008..when I first visited Bolsa Chica Wetlands which is located only a couple of miles from where I live. After capturing my first bird in flight, I was hopelessly addicted.. Recently, I have added hummingbirds to this obsession. I was introduced to a hummingbird paradise at Huntington Central Park in Huntington Beach, California along with Shipley Nature Center, which is located within the park. There are areas devoted to the hummingbird along with an array of various wildflowers that these tiny and lightning fast birds are attracted to.
