Eight years of the Bush administration combined with six years of neo-conservative Republican control of Congress and two years of neo-conservative Republican obstruction in that same body have wrought untold destruction on our system of government. However, I don’t think the lessons have been learned, mainly since those members of our population here in America still feel that education is like a disease and any piece of information larger than a bumper sticker or a t-shirt is too hard to digest. So here for all of my countrymen who haven’t yet grasped the lessons of the Bush years, is my primer on what can happen when you vote Republican.
NOTE: This does not mean that I think all Republicans are like this. I’m sure all of you who call yourselves Republican actually believe in things like freedom, equality (for everyone, which is what equality actually means) fiscal conservatism and so on and so forth, but what you believe and what the people who run your party and represent you in Congress and the White House believe are two entirely different animals.
