Something for Two
I found this still life in an abandonded house where it seemed as though the occupants had just walked out one day.I touched nothing-I very rarely do touch the abandonded.Anyway the more I looked at this still life before me, the more I saw.Hopefully you’ll see something here as well-enjoy.

Your work is always really detailed. I need an hour to look over every mm of your shots so as to take it all in.

Just sitting down for a meal together… two places set to share their food… the people who used to look out that window and share each others’ company and love… sad you couldn’t capture them… Beautiful picture. Your work is intriguing. Where are the spoons?how can you eat soup or cereal with a knife? what’s in the upper right corner, looks like… duck calls… or pipes?

First of all, this is an amazing capture, beautiful colors, beautiful composition and framing.
Second, I love this statement: “I very rarely do touch the abandoned.” Something sacred and profound about that.

Another story is contained here in this photo. Hey, I used to love tramping out in the countryside and finding abandoned places, they all had such raw emotion within the walls—as if the people had left, but the feelings, dreams, disappointments still lingered in the air. Yes, something very untouchable and sacred still there.
LOVE AND PEACE, jen

You appear to spend a fair bit of time in dilapidated structures Glenn. I hope you keep doing so if this is an example of the results. Nice golden glow of memories past.
