Well worth the wait Gary. I love the fact that you shot this on an angle, great composition. Will I see you on King St. Friday night (or in the park)…Jules…Favour

  • Thanks so much Jules, I was hoping to get his other cars outside as well but I guess he hides them when he closes for the weekend! See ya Friday :)

Cool! What a grand old pick up in a great setting, Gary. Love the old pumps!

  • Thanks Mike! I had been meaning to get by this place for months now and just finally remembered. Glad I did :)

Splendid shot Gary. It somehow eluded me before. Where abouts in Guelph is this, so I can look for it when next I’m out that way. Even if the truck isn’t out, I’ll settle for the vintage gas pumps. BTW, the British Car Show is on this weekend at Bronte Creek Provincial Park. Hope we finally meet up. >Ron<

  • Thanks Ron! The truck is usually out and when the shop is open they generally have a couple of old vehicles out. They are located in Aberfoyle on old 6 just north of the 401. Turn into the Industrial Park on the right by Timmie’s and it will be on the left :))
Wifey just said we will be there, hope the weather holds! Look forward to meeting you!!

WOO-HOOOOOO….vintage gas pumps, old vehicles and a nearby TIMMIES!!!! What a trifecta!!!! Can’t possibly pass this place up…especially being easy to find…and not that far a drive. Regarding the Brit Car Show. I usually arrive between 12 & 12:30. If you see a guy with 2 Nikons hanging from his neck, chances are it’s me. Hope we finally meet up. All the best, Ron

  • You won’t be disappointed my friend! I am going to try and sneak away this morning to get down there… I was informed last night that I should be helping my niece move into new digs….. but my back seems to be hurting :D

If you got down to the Brit show, you must’ve been gone when I got there. As far as these last minute ‘chores’ go, you can solve that by putting the word out a week in advance that you’re going to a car show, or whatever on a given day. If your help is required, they’ll have to change their day. Works for me. Well, there’s a car show at Rockton Faigrounds next weekend, and then the one in Ancaster on the last Sunday of October. Hopefully we’ll meet up yet. Plan to go on Saturday next weekend. Ciao. >Ron<
