I took a real interest in photography in 2005 when I was introduced to my friends Nikon D100. I was amazed at what one could achieve. I immediately started researching and soon after owned my first digital camera. Although it gave me the means to express my creativity, I soon reached its limits and opted for a DSLR; the best thing I have ever bought.
Being self taught in everything I know about photography, I have learnt through trial and error and a lot of practice and research.
Adobe Photoshop (currently CS4) is by far my single favourite piece of software. I have been using it for years, even before I took an interest in photography. Gradually I have learnt more and more whilst using it and I really feel it is a major necessity in the world of photography.
Despite compliments I am still not satisfied with the quality of my work and aspire to produce comparable work to those I admire. Although being a perfectionist, I wonder if I will ever be 100% satisfied. I know I have the potential to produce much greater work than I already have, as in my opinion my standard is only getting better with time.
Critisism from Redbubble will help me to build up the technical & design skills to pursue my aspirations both for my professional and personal development.
